IWLI was founded in North Carolina by Guli (Guzeliya Islamova) — a former film producer with over 20 years of experience in visual storytelling and international film production.

After moving to the United States, the creative instinct that once shaped her work on screen evolved into something new: a way to bring emotion, color, and character into the small details we carry every day.
